Since its establishment in 1965, the School of Continuing and Professional Studies of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUSCS) has been dedicated to providing quality lifelong and professional education to the community. Vocational education is becoming increasingly important. In response to this trend, the Education Bureau has introduced the Revised Common Descriptors for Associate Degree and Higher Diploma Programmes, identifying the Higher Diploma qualification as a "main pillar in the Vocational and Professional Education and Training pathway". At CUSCS, our Higher Diploma Programmes are meticulously designed to combine specialised knowledge with practical, hands-on experience. These programmes undergo rigorous vetting and approval procedures by the University, ensuring that students gain the skills and competencies necessary to either pursue further studies or start rewarding careers in their chosen fields.

2025 marks the 60th Anniversary of CUSCS! This milestone reflects our unwavering commitment to serving the Hong Kong community and nurturing talents for its continued development. Over the past six decades, we have consistently refined our programmes to ensure that they stay innovative and relevant. These programmes empower our students to grow not only academically, but also personally and professionally.
